Comprehensive Knowledge Management program design and implementation

I created the knowledge management department at one of the world’s top law firms. I have some great experience to share here.

• An effective knowledge management program will make your company more profitable, efficient, and resilient. Creating a program that proves its value is elusive. It requires the discretion to identify processes and systems that should be pursued, the priority in which to proceed and the experience to ensure that implementations are complete.
• Creating a great KM program requires an understanding of the inner workings of the firm’s business and technology. One of the first things we will do is map the flow of information through your organization. A high-level view of how various systems and processes interact is created. This artifact will reveal redundancies and deficiencies in systems/data as well as people and processes.
• Knowledge Is evolving rapidly, commercially available technologies are now available for things we used to have write custom software for. I will guide you through product selection, integration, and implementation to take advantage of these new generation of tools.
